Global Sustainability Program
Our Global Sustainability Program is deeply integrated into our culture of inclusion and environmental responsibility.
Environmental Compliance
OSI is committed to complying with applicable environmental laws and regulations. In addition, many of our businesses have achieved certifications under strict environmental standards including ISO 14001: Environmental Management System.
Energy Usage
We are cognizant of our energy utilization at our facilities and offices. In addition, our product development teams strive to ensure our products and services are energy efficient.
Renewable energy sources are already integrated into our operations and supply chain and we plan to expand where possible.
In addition, we are actively reviewing our processes to identify ways to reduce overall energy usage.
Water Usage
Our businesses are actively in the process of collecting data on our global water consumption across our manufacturing processes.
Our teams are committed to identifying meaningful ways to reduce our water utilization.
We acknowledge the right to water as a basic human right. We ensure access to safe drinking water and sanitary facilities for our staff both at our facilities and at our vendors’ facilities.
Emissions
OSI is committed to reducing its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across our global operations.
To establish meaningful goals, OSI is collecting information on various metrics so that we can identify areas for GHG reduction. These efforts include identifying potential changes to manufacturing operations and travel policies to reduce emissions of air pollutants and CO2
